Help Ali and Fahme rebuild their lives

Hello, my name is george and I’m from Singapore. I’m fundraising on behalf of Ali Emad Al-Hamarneh and Fahme Emad Abo Moualiq, who are from Gaza.
Ali and Fahme are both 20 years old, and are very good friends who studied photography at Al-Azhar University before it was destroyed by the occupation. They have since been displaced several times, with the latest displacement landing them at Al Nuseirat refugee camp. With the ceasefire in effect, they are now trying to leave Gaza for Egypt in order to complete their education.
Ali and Fahme are both compassionate individuals who care deeply about their community, and volunteer with several organisations including:
– United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) – World Central Kitchen – Palestinian Expatriate Association – Al-Manal Association for Women’s Development – Al-Zahra Municipality in Aid Provision Dept. & Emergency Committee
Across these organisations, Ali and Fahme engage in life-saving work, such as distributing clean water, food parcels, and medicine to refugee camps and tents. They also support children in their community by leading group activities for them.
Even with the ceasefire in effect, they are unable to return to their homes as they have been destroyed, and are forced to continue living in tents. They also need to ensure food and medicinal security for their families first.
Furthermore, Ali is injured and requires a surgery that will cost them $3000. To coordinate evacuation from Gaza through the Hala Company based in Egypt, each person has to pay $8000. As such, the initial goal of $15000 will likely get raised if this campaign is successful.
